Today I’ll be reviewing two body creams and one eyelash growth serum. I’ve been using these products on and off for a few months and I have to confess that I’ve not used them for consecutive days, sufficient to see a remarkable result. And that’s also a reason why I’ve been hesitant to review these products on the blog as it’s hard to attest to the results. Nonetheless, I’ll be including details of the products, so if you find them useful, you might want to give them a try! 😉
Meditrina Ageless Herbal Cream with Chasteberry Extract, Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy Cream & NewbornLash Eyelash & Brow Serum

Do you experience very bad period cramps? Then you might find this cream useful! Starting off the review with Meditrina Ageless Herbal Cream with Chasteberry Extract that is highly recommended by fellow blogger Herine, who also sent this product over to me for review.
Specifically developed to alleviate hormone imbalance symptoms and beauty problems related to hormonal imbalances, Meditrina Ageless Herbal Cream with Chasteberry extract contains the exclusive Phyto-hormone Triactive Complex of Chasteberry, Fenugreek and Rapeseed Extract, clinically proven to mimic the positive effects of your hormones on your body and skin. This Triactive Complex designed for skin delivery system to maximize its efficacy on restoring you to optimal youthful levels and improving your health and vitality. It contains 100% natural botanical ingredients, no animal substances or synthetic hormones are used in the formulation of Meditrina Ageless Herbal Cream.
Meditrina Ageless Herbal Cream helps to regulate hormone production, maintains optimal hormone levels and is a great massage complement for holistic healing.
Chasteberry (Vitex) is a plant found in the Mediterranean region. It has the ability to effect the pituitary gland’s regulatory and balancing influence on progesterone, estrogen and prolactin hormone production. Its preparations are used to help treat irregularities of the menstrual cycles, premenstrual complaints and mastodynia (breast pain). It is also an effective remedy for menopausal disorders & PMS.
Fenugreek acts as an emollient (softens and soothes the skin). It also reduces blood sugar and is a potential raw material for the production of sex hormones. It is commonly used in Chinese Medicine to treat cold pain in the lower abdomen, impotence, and hernia (said to be due to cold “Chi”).
Dioscorea (Wild Yam) root is used as a precursor for manufacturing progesterone and estrogen. It is used to help ease dysmenorrhea and cramps.
Grape Seed Extract is a powerful anti-oxidant. The anti-oxidant activity provides a strong rationale for using it in the therapeutic management of microvascular disorders. It may also support collagen stabilization.
Geranium Oil keeps the skin supple and opens its pores to allow
better absorption. Its properties for balancing the mind and emotions helps relief anxiety, stress etc.
Benefits of Meditrina Ageless Herbal Cream
1. Improve osteoporosis symptoms
2. Improves decreased libido
3. Alleviates moodswings and hotflushes
4. Reduces vaginal dryness
5. Retards aging
6. Firms the breasts
7. Reduces menstrual cramps/PMS
8. Reduce water retention
9. Hydrates skin and improve skin elasticity
10. Promotes a stronger immune system
If stretch marks are your concerns, why not give Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy Cream a shot? I confess that I don’t have visible stretch marks to attest to the effects of this cream, but I love applying this to my legs and thighs because of the lovely botanical scent and its moisturizing effects from the hyaluronic acid. In case you haven’t, read my review of Mederma Proactive Gel, a scar removal gel here. For more information, visit the Mederma website here.
Last but not the last, we have NewbornLash Eyelash and Brow Serum for review. I really want to like this product and see its effects on my eyelashes because I have the typical sparse, short and straight asian eyelashes. HOWEVER I have never managed to go past 3 consecutive days/nights of applying this serum. Sorry guys. I usually apply this at night before I sleep, it has a tiny brush tip applicator which makes it easy to apply the serum at your eyelash roots. I also confess that this is a very late review because I received this product last year. The product is brought in by BeaulabSEA but I can’t find any product information on its site at the moment. Let me know if you’ve any eyelash growth serum to recommend and tips to stick to the regime? 🙂

Arteastiq started out at Mandarin Gallery and it’s known to be a place where you can spend hours painting and/or having tea with friends, so it’s also only appropriate to dress up a little for it (not that I need any excuse to dress up, really). 😉

Promotion boards and a space for painting just in front of the store. During the weekdays when I’ve passed by, they also exhibit artworks there.
Already loving the very French-esque (read: style) shop front with the black and white canopy and old school bike prop.
Have I mentioned how much I love an updated, modern yet classic interior? Loving the gold accents amidst the black and white colours.
The interior decor and furnishing is eclectic yet classy and comfortable.
Green plants and candles set a cosy ambience.
You could also choose to lounge in these green sofas.
You’re getting a very soothing open skies and greenery view if you’re seating by the windows.
Longan tea is an Arteastiq special and many have asked where to get the tea from but it’s a trade secret! My friends and I love it iced as it’s refreshing and perfect for Singapore’s sunny weather.
You can opt for biscuits and biscotti to go with the tea too!
Aphrodiate Crabmeat Benedict ($25) is a store recommended dish, the crabmeat was a little dry.
I super love this Tuscan Sun Porcine et Polenta ($20) which is eggs over mashed potatos and mushrooms, basically all my favourites on a plate!

Mount Etna’s Peak ($13) Crisp chocolate triangle filled with Valrhona chocolate mousse, yuzu gelato and berries coulis – I don’t know about you, but this is basically all my favourite desserts on a platter!
Airy Fairy ($13) pairing Valrhona Chocolate Mousse with Vanilla Cream Parfait and Mixed Berries.

New cosmetics from Etude House Play 101 Sticks / cushion concealers, Laneige BB Cushion, K-Palette Rose Eyeliner, Kate Tokyo Eyeshadow Palettes, Stenders Handcream and Lipbalm.
Swatches of Etude House Play 101 sticks, creamy and pigmented.
My picks for the day.
Coffee break with Cafedirect (available at Fairprice Finest & Fairprice Xtra) before heading out.

Chic photo spots around every corner around Middle Road, if you seek, you’ll find. 😉

Headed back and washed up with

We were well fuelled by
*satisfied grin*
And YES I had also lugged over the new ranges of skincare goodies; shower gel, scrub, body creams from The Body Shop to try out during the staycation, best decision ever! Our bathroom and room were filled and smelled so good of summer fragrances from the Pinita Colada (Pineapple and Coconut) to Polynesian Tiare (island flowers), they’ll all launch by June 9. 😉
Lovin’ the soft morning sunrays~
And a wefie with the lovely one before we tore ourselves away from the room… we really didn’t want to go.
A very cosy and bubbly lobby atmosphere when we left, ideal for friends or family to gather before heading out.
Traveling with my sis for this trip! On the coach~
My cute personalized passport cover thanks to Tiffy!
They had nice bread, but servings were huge. We didn’t want to be too full as we were expecting a buffet lunch at Coffee Terrace~
So I snapped a few photos and we headed to check out other food places.

Apparently my sis is a pro at it! 😛
Here’s one of me after a few takes. But as you can see, I can’t seem to take on with one hand only… I need more practice. Haha.

Here’s one with the group before going in! The plan was to take 5-10 min before it was open to public, to snap some photos before we can have fun after! Photos and cameras are not allowed (except for media) inside Snow World as they have professional photographers inside and will charge you for photos, should you want.
Super cute Easter eggs and sweets decor~
They have ice sculptures too.
Another group we-fie, inside!
With sis outside the Igloo house!

The menu, sorry it’s a little dark, basically you have choices from Pizzas, Pasta and Meat.
Aglio Olio.
Refreshing Blackcurrent with apple base juice.

Slow braised lamb shank.
Spaghetti Bolognese.
Carbonara Pizza.
Lam Lee Burger, tastes like a restaurant version of Ramly burger.

Oblong Margherita Pizza.
Kampung Chicken.
Old Angus Beef T-Bone Steak.
Old Angus Beef T-Bone Steak. This was pretty good! Overall the food at Bubbles & Bites were of great value with prices from RM29 for Ethiopian Chicken to RM75 for the Old Angus Beef Steak. I highly recommend the Grilled Salmon Tagliatelle & Cremosa Pesto (RM33) & Chicken Schnitzel (RM29).

Oops, I didn’t snap a pic of the room / hour rates HAHA. I thought this was it. T_T I think it’s about RM80 per hour.

Leong looking so happy with his food! 🙂
With the group after a hearty and full breakfast!
Brought the Origins’ rose mask and renewal serum with me for the staycation so I could apply it with by bff!
Close up of the duo
How we look with Origins Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay. Only a quick 10 minutes is all it takes! I love it!
How we look after the mask and applying Origins’ Original Skin Renewal Serum with Willowherb.

Some swatches of the Clinique’s Pop lip colour.

Photos and products from the event. Unfortunately I did not like both the chubby mascara and liquid eyelining pen as I found the chubby mascara hard to handle with the chubby body and the eyelining pen smudges. Have yet to review the eye serum, will put it to the test and review on my IG
Was also gifted the Clinique’s 3 step skin care for taking part in the #FaceForward social media campaign. I have oily + normal combi skin and I was matched with the type 3 for the 3 step skin care, consisting of soap, lotion and gel. Heard really good reviews of the dramatically different moisturizing gel, shall also review on my IG after testing it.

Another smaller massage head.
First a gel is spread across the skin of the targeted area to reduce friction and increase effectiveness from the massage and treatment.
Then the massage begins and it is timed for an automatic 10 minutes. The heat from the massage head and massaging action gets more intense with time. If it gets too hot, you can request for a lower temperature. At first I was a bit hesitant as I was afraid it might be too hot, but after I know the heat limit from one side, I could really enjoy the heat and massage during the treatment on the other side.
The result after 10 minutes, the skin is red from the heat and massage but is not prolonged, goes down quickly after the treatment.
The last step is putting on a mask with collagen, to sooth and hydrate the skin.

The Moistfull White Mela Perfect Serum is a whit-ish translucent watery consistency serum which I apply after my toner and before my make up base. It is quite moisturising as well. I would recommend if you’re looking for an affordable moisturizing and whitening serum.
The Zero Sebum Line include 1. White Sebum Clear 2. All Day Matte Gel and 3. Drying Powder.
