Recently I had the pleasure to indulge in a staycation at ParkRoyal on Pickering, Singapore’s first hotel in a garden. The entire stay passed like a breeze, thanks to the great service, wonderful lush atmosphere and lovely food and drinks served. My bestie Fion and I stayed at the Orchid Club Deluxe Room and enjoyed access to the Orchid Club Lounge which provides afternoon tea, cocktail and breakfast. I fell in love with the hotel’s architecture which integrates organic lines and greenery so seamlessly. All in all, I definitely recommend this place as a weekend getaway for locals and a hotel of choice for foreigners! Back to the Orchid Club Lounge for cocktail & bites!
This mushroom ragu is super awesome and delicious! It’s made of eggs and flavoured mushroom and I went back for 2nd serving (and was tempted to go back for 3rd, lol)!
Then Fion and I headed out to The Central which was a stone’s throw away for some shopping! We went to shop at Naiise but I didn’t snap any photos, haha. It’s this shop that has quirky local designer lifestyle products.Watsons drugstore if you need anything!Lots of eating places available!Live performance by the Clark Quay river on a Saturday evening!
