Fall in love with Emily Fruit Crisps

The story of Emily fruit crisp is an interesting one. Business and life partners Emily Wong and Alex Ascani met in London. Alex studied in Singapore and it was on a trip back to Asia that they discovered how to make fruit crisp. Alex decided to name the brand after Emily, so he could bring Emily wherever he went and now, make the world fall in love with Emily… fruit crisps.

The fruit crisps come in banana, apple and pineapple flavours. All natural fruit ingredients with a touch of oil, no gluten, sugar or preservatives, very healthy and tasty.

Dessert Art with Pastry Chef Jasmin at Stellar at 1-Altitude

Hi Loves!

A while back, I had the chance to have my hand in dessert art making under the demonstration and teaching of pastry chef Jasmin at Stellar at 1 Altitude located at One Raffles Place. It was such a pleasure and enjoyable experience to make the beautiful and delicious desserts and to be able to taste them later! We had fun making or designing rather, a platter of desserts, two of which featuring Stellar’s best loved desserts Creme Brulee and Fireball – these are sooo good. The Creme Brulee is coated with a layer of crispy caramel and is soft inside. The Fireball is presented with a coat of fire and is a ball of chocolate goodness! Ā Check out the photos of the demonstration followed by our own creations below~

Fun & Exciting Weekend at Genting

Hi Loves!

A few weeks back, I travelled to Genting with a group of bloggers and friends. Although we didn’t know each other (except for our plus ones of course), we got to know each other better through the trip and had a blast! We had so much fun that by the end of the trip, I really didn’t want it to end~

There’s going to be so many exciting developments taking place in Genting! A new premium outlet mall is slated to open in mid 2016.Ā 20th Century Fox Theme Park which will be completed in phases, will open by theĀ end 2016. And that’s not it! There’ll also be a Sky Avenue Mall, Sky Plaza & a new cable car system which will connect First World Hotel & the new premium outlet mall. Which only means we totally have to go and check it out when they’re open!!!Ā By then, spending 1 weekend at Genting will not be enough, you’ll need at least 3 days or more. In the meanwhile, read on and find out what we did during our recent trip, so you can get some ideas if you’re planning to head down soon!

The bloggers and I headed to Genting via coach. We met up at Boon Lay shopping centre for the coach ride:
RWGenting Weekend Trip Blogger Review 001 RWGenting Weekend Trip Blogger Review 002There are a few coach providers, we travelled with The One. I must say that their buses (to and fro) and bus drivers were very good, so I would recommend them. Bus tickets are about S$80-90 for round trip. We took the night coach which departed at 10pm and we reached Genting around 4.30am.

We were welcomed by the RWGenting team when we reached Genting and were directed to our hotel rooms at the newest wing, aka Tower 3, XYZ deluxe rooms. Here’s how the lobby looks like!

I like the modern graphic interior design & use of fresh colours.Ā First World Hotel XYZ Deluxe Room RWGenting Weekend Trip Blogger Review 015Even more spaces, yes it’s a huge lobby, but even then I think it’s still not as big as the main First World Hotel lobby.
First World Hotel XYZ Deluxe Room RWGenting Weekend Trip Blogger Review 016Automatic check out stations.First World Hotel XYZ Deluxe Room RWGenting Weekend Trip Blogger Review 011Our rooms are located on the 25th floor. Even though there are 6 lifts, it still takes a long time (15min) for the lift to reach our floor especially during peak hours from 10-11am, which is around check out timing. So plan your time in advance to give allowance for the lifts. šŸ™‚First World Hotel XYZ Deluxe Room RWGenting Weekend Trip Blogger Review 001First World Hotel XYZ Deluxe Room RWGenting Weekend Trip Blogger Review 002Our XYZ Deluxe Room! I like the modern, simple yet chic interior design and the comfy bed & linens. However there’s no wifi in the rooms. A quick check with the RWGenting team reveals that they have already feedback to the management but it is still not confirmed if and when wifi will be provided in the rooms. If you need wifi, it is available at the lobby, as well as at cafes like Starbucks & The Bakery. You should also bring your own toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo) as they are not provided for. Should you forget, you can also buy from stores like Watsons nearby.First World Hotel XYZ Deluxe Room RWGenting Weekend Trip Blogger Review 003After a few more hours of rest, we got ready for our brunch! Here’s the morning view from our #25 floor lift lobby. Am using the miniature lens effect of Casio TR60 camera.

We started our day with brunch at Coffee Terrace, for their lunch buffet. We were allowed in earlier than the public crowd (yay to media perks!).

At the Coffee Terrace, you can savour dishes from the Local, Flavors of Malaysia, Chinese, Western, Japanese & Western Asian counters (Last two counters opens only for dinners). There are also very good varieties of appetizer, salads and desserts on the buffet spread.

After a very hearty lunch buffet, we headed to Chin Swee Caves Temple. The Chin Swee Caves Temple is situated in the most scenic site of Genting Highlands. Even if you are not a devotee, like myself, you will still enjoy this cultural experience.Ā Within the temple is the statue of Reverend Master Chin Swee, who is also referred to as a deity in Fujian Province for his supernatural abilities to summon rain and drive away evil spirits. Located 4,600 feet above sea level, the temple is about 5-10 minutes drive down from the peak of the mountain. The temple attracts many local and foreign devotees as well as tourists.

After shopping & chilling at Starbucks, we headed back to our hotel room to drop our stuff before heading out again to check out the Casino! (No photos allowed in the Casino)

It was my first time to a Casino on land (cause I went to the cruise one before, but that was just to check out my friend’s grandma and speak to her momentarily before we went elsewhere) and at the Genting casino, it was really crazy watching all the money that the gamblers were putting on the tables and the dealers counting the notes and stuffing them into the table, by the thousands(!). I mean, ok, I must sound like a sua ku (mountain turtle, lol) but it was eye opening for me ok? šŸ˜› For more information about Genting Casinos, check out here. Italgelato Gelato Ice Cream RWGenting Weekend Trip Blogger Review 015ITALGElato Head Chef and mini stick ice cream.

ITALGElatoĀ is Resorts World Genting’s in house original gelato brand, which makes them the only resort with such a claim. Edward Holloway, the resort’s Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations first came up with the idea of the resort’s own ice cream brand. It started as his team and him were brainstorming concepts for the new theme park and researching how to achieve a perfect Italian gelato in Malaysia. Cosentino City – innovative surfaces for architecture and design

Hi Loves!

MTG Plosion 007Remember my previous post about MTG ReFa S Carat and Plosion and this photo with the various tiles? I mentioned that I would give an introduction about Cosentino, which is the brand that produces and markets these innovative surfaces for architecture and design, so here it is!

Frankly, preparing and writing this post is quite different from my usual fashion, beauty, food & travel topics but I am happy to be doing so, because architecture & interior design is definitely a topic that I love too! šŸ™‚

11011297_438777636284644_2653272227506262270_n

If you’re like me and haven’t heard of Cosentino, fret not, because their space here in Singapore is actually pretty new too! Cosentino City, as their showroom space in Duxton is known, only launched in November last year, so this year marks its first year. However the company and brand is way more established, read more about them here:

Cosentino Group is a global, family-owned company that produces and distributes high value innovative surfaces for architecture and design. As a leading company, Cosentino imagines and anticipates together with its customers and partners design solutions that offer value and inspiration to people’ lives. This goal is made possible by pioneering brands that are leaders in their respective segments such as SilestoneĀ®, DektonĀ®, Eco by CosentinoĀ® and Sensa by CosentinoĀ®. Technologically advanced surfaces which allow create unique designs for the home and public spaces.

The group bases its development on international expansion, an innovative research and development program, respect for the environment and sustainability, and its ongoing corporate commitment to society and the local communities where it operates, education, equality and health & safety.

Cosentino Group currently distributes its products and brands in more than 80 countries, and directly manages from its headquarters in Almeria (Spain) its own facilities in more than 20 of them. 90% of Cosentino Group’s turnover comes from international markets.

Cool, huh! I may be wrong as I don’t come from an architectural and design background, but I do feel that the Cosentino is like the Hermes brand in the architecture world. Ā I say this because Cosentino reminds me of the private high fashion brand Hermes as both are privately owned and both have such high levels of excellence in their products. Also, beyond just marketing their products, they create such wonderful environments and also give back to society through sponsorship of artistic collaborations. In essence, brands like them inspire me!

And we also indulged a little with a variety of Spanish food (love the link to their Spanish roots here!) from My Little Spanish Place. Although I have not Ā been to Spain before, so I can’t tell if the food is authentic but it sure does tastes amazing and I would love to visit the restaurant soon!

And watching the snippets of Italy made me miss my times as an art student, touring Italy so much. T_T

Before I start crying as I reminisce the old times, let me share more sleek visuals of Cosentino projects and applications!

Clozette KParty & Klarity Bloggers’ Event

Hi Loves!

Clozette held a Clozette Ambassadors KParty some time back and it was a blast! We had fun playing with LANEIGE new duo tone lip bars, selecting our gold foil tattoos, enjoying the fantastic food at Farm to Table cafe (@ 83 Duxton Road), chatting and taking pictures with fellow ambassadors and taking part in the lucky draw (which I won a TFS set because I answered a Kdrama related question correctly! YAY!). šŸ˜€Clozette Ambassadors Kparty Enabalista Lifestyle Blog 006 Clozette Ambassadors Kparty Enabalista Lifestyle Blog 001 Clozette Ambassadors Kparty Enabalista Lifestyle Blog 002 Clozette Ambassadors Kparty Enabalista Lifestyle Blog 004 Clozette Ambassadors Kparty Enabalista Lifestyle Blog 005 Clozette Ambassadors Kparty Enabalista Lifestyle Blog 003 Clozette Ambassadors Kparty Enabalista Lifestyle Blog 007

We met the founder of Klarity skincare brand who was sharing about the benefits of Klarity CC cream which is hydrating, moisturizing while being a great makeup foundation/base. We were gifted a sample pack which I tried and it’s really good! It’s no wonder that it’s highly raved and loved by many beauty bloggers even from abroad, as I’ve seen Australian beauty blogger/instagrammer raving about it on IG. I would recommend you to try it too!

Thank you Clozette & Klarity SG for the event invites!

Indulge in Caffe B’s Delicious Yet Affordable Set Lunch @ MBS

Hi Loves!

A while back I feasted at Caffe B’s at Marina Bay Sands and today I’d like to share about this gem with you! šŸ˜‰

Caffe B Enabalista Blog Review 014

Caffe B Enabalista Blog Review 013

Located at Marina Bay Sands #B1-15/01-83, Caffe B is a mixed Japanese and Western fusion restaurant and bar. It’s a place that’s definitely under the radar despite its lovely ambience and food. So I recommend you checking it out the next time you’re visiting MBS.Ā Ā

Caffe B Enabalista Blog Review 001

The amazing thing about their Set Lunch is that it’s so affordably priced at $25+ despite the posh location and delicious food. It’s a deal you definitely want to take advantage of! Diners get to pick one each; between 2 starters, from 4 main courses and dessert comes in onlyĀ 1 item. For the food tasting we got to try all of the items on the menu! Also, as it’s a media tasting, we got tasting portions for the main course (else we could not possibly try every dish) so if you’re visiting, be assured that the portions are much bigger than what you see here! šŸ™‚Caffe B Enabalista Blog Review 002 Caffe B Enabalista Blog Review 003

Caffe B Enabalista Blog Review 011

For desserts, we ended with Trio Profiteroles, filled with Matcha, Red Bean and Chocolate Cream which is a nice touch that reminds us of Caffe B’s Japanese influence.

Now you know where to bring your business associates for your next lunch meeting! šŸ˜‰

Caffe B now has a second set lunch menu for 2015,Ā contact them at bar@caffeb.com.sg or 6222 2329. Be sure to like them on Facebook here for news and promotions!

Discover Awesome Offers & Dining Options with OpenSnap, Your Must Have Mobile Food Guide

Hi Loves!

Well if you don’t already know, I’m a huge fan of good food… who isn’t right? šŸ˜› I think 90% (pulling number out of thin air, btw) of Singaporean gatherings include some form of food; dining or drinks. Us Singaporeans just love our food!

unnamed opensnap

As such, I honestly can’t believe how late I am to the boat of OpenSnap, which is an amazing food guide app, truly a wonderful work of art. With this app, you’ll never have to rack your brains over where to eat in Singapore~

I mean, what good is it for me to say so much? Take a good look for yourself!

OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 001

Browse the homepage with tabs such as “Offers” and “Editor’s Pick”. I love how the app’s interface is so clean and easy to navigate!OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 002

Obviously, we’re gonna check out the Offers tab… Ā Do you know that OpenSnap has the Ā most offers in one app available, with more than 500 unique restaurants and more than 900 offers on board?!Ā Does this interest you already? šŸ˜‰

OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 003

I’m not sure how much a slice of Lady M Marron Mille Crepe usually costs, but if you’re planning to head down, why not take advantage of this offer?
OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 004

Here’s another great offer, if you’re planning to head down to Lawry’s for your family’s Father’s Day Dinner… Lawry’s at Mandarin Gallery has a very nice ambience. šŸ™‚OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 005

If you’re a fan of trying out new places and experiences, check out OpenSnap’s list of new restaurants! I’m looking forward to try out Milk Cow, when the queue isn’t that long, heh.OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 006

This has got to be one of my favourite tabs – “Editor’s Picks”. Seriously, it’s like they read my mind and catered the top two features for me… I’m a fan of salted egg yolk and matchaaaa!Ā OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 007

Sorry if this post is making you hungry… Look at all these wonderful salted egg yolk dishes! The best part is that these images you see above are user submitted food photos and reviews, which comes with a dish rating feature (1-5 stars rating)! This means, you can decide which popular dish to try, based on the user ratings/recommendations, how helpful!
OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 008

Another thing is how pretty the app looks visually – some of the user uploads look like they came out of the magazine… it’s like searching on Instagram with #matcha, except the quality is higher and comes with more details like price!Ā OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 009

This, am going back for this matcha soya soft serve for sure!Ā OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 010

Scrolling down the homepage, you’ll see more useful features such as “Cafes” and “Open Till Late”.OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 011

Now you can go totally crazy on those #CafeHopping #Saturdates!OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 012

You can find out the Best Restaurants and Dishes in Singapore.

OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 013

If you’re out of new places to check out after midnight – this feature will give you new ideas!
OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 014

Another option to filter restaurants based on Location, and in this case, I picked “Bedok”. Essentially you can search for restaurants and new food places near your location!OpenSnap App Blogger Review Enabalista 015

Similar to Instagram, you can follow cool (or should I say Food, keke) users with lots of food updates and recommendations too!

If you haven’t already, go download OpenSnap here (Android) and here (Apple)!

Thanks OpenSnap for making this review possible. šŸ˜‰

Delicious Meals Without The Wait

Hi Loves!

Today I’m very excited to be sharing about Food Panda~!

Food Panda Hui Wei Takeaway Blogger Review Enabalista SS 003

In case you haven’t heard or tried Food Panda before, you’ll be glad to know about them now! Food Panda is an awesome online/mobile service where you can order from an array of restaurants that provide delivery to your local address based on your postcode.

You can order to your home, office, friend’s home or wherever life/work takes you to, as long as the location is recognised and food is deliverable there (don’t blame me if your location is too obscure! :p).

Food Panda Hui Wei Takeaway Blogger Review Enabalista SS 001

Based on the postcode you input, Food Panda will show you the list of restaurants nearby which will deliver to your choice of location. From my place, there’s a whole list of 42 restaurants, impressive!

Food Panda Hui Wei Takeaway Blogger Review Enabalista SS 002

And the best part is, you can order in advance so your meal is delivered during your meal time! Awesome isn’t it?

I decided on Hui Wei, which is a Tze-Char (stir fried) place which has 3.5stars based on 143 ratings. Ā Thanks to my sister Jia Hui for doing her research (I outsourced this task to her, hehe) and she decided on these few delicious dishes!

Highly recommended too.Ā Food Panda Hui Wei Takeaway Blogger Review Enabalista SS 001I recommend Food Panda service for your next family or friend’s party or gathering! With this, you can save time on preparing your meal, you can even get your guests to look through the menu and order dishes to suit their liking and enjoy the meal in the comfort of your own home / private location~ ! The only downside is the minimum $50 order (for Hui Wei) for delivery, however if you’re ordering for a party of 8 or more, this won’t be an issue. šŸ˜‰

Thank you Food PandaĀ for making this review possible!

Dad’s Birthday Celebration! (Belated Update)

Hi Loves!

So, my dad’s birthday’s in September and here are some photos from the 2 celebrations and awesome yummy food we had last September, kekeke!

2014-09-13 18.50.09

For the first dinner celebration, we went to Ah Yat, which is famous for their delicious and tender Abalone! We went to the Bugis/Hotel Grand Pacific branch. I only took like the first few dishes and I think I was too busy eating to capture the rest, hahaha!

They also have this really yummy chicken and awesome 3 meat dish; pork, chicken and duck, must try!Ā Dad Birthday Celebration 003

With my sisters, parents and Daddy’s good friends. ^^

For dinner round 2, we went to Teochew Traditional Seafood Restaurant, at my dad’s friend’s recommendation and treat! He was raving about it (during dinner 1) and it really didn’t disappoint! The only downside is it’s quite inconvenient if you don’t drive. I thought I could walk from Paya Lebar and I walked REALLY FAR. I was quite amazed at how far I walked. Better to cab in! Anyhoos, this restaurant supposedly use Shark’s bones to cook the soup base so its really yummy. I won’t oversell the soup, so you won’t go with damn high expectations. Just go with an open mind and enjoy the good food!

1. Enjoy Soup Spoon’s Healthy Collagen Hot Pot at the comfort of your own home!

Chinese New Year calls for family reunion dinners… and we’re all so busy with work thatĀ dinner preparation andĀ cooking can be quite demanding, right? To meet the needs of busy customers like us, the thoughtful Soup Spoon founder Anna has created the Collagen Hot Pot set which you can conveniently order from online here,Ā arrange which day you want to pick up and all you need is just a hot pot and your love ones to enjoy dinner with! Just a heads up that the entire bag is about 10kg, so be sure to have someone strong to carry with you and you might want to take cab or have a car ride home with the heavy bag. šŸ˜‰ The Collagen Hotpot come in two sizes, Deluxe for 4 pax ($98) or Premium for 6 pax ($128), the latter which includes Whole Cordyceps Chicken, Collagen Chicken Stock, Clear Chicken Stock, Kimchi Stock, (stocks in 1.5L each) Assorted Seafood & Veg, 3 dipping sauces (Soya, Garlic & Chilli) & Osmanthus Jelly! Want to know more about the benefits of Collagen for your body and skin? Check out their very helpful & informative site here.

I had the sweet privilege to enjoy this yummy Collagen Hot Pot twice, the first time with a few bloggers at the Soup Spoon Suntec store and the second time, I enjoyed it with my family… It was such a delight to enjoy the yummy collagen soup base which was thick and yummy, and sweet with all the vegetables and cordyceps chicken! I definitely think that this Collagen Hot Pot is super value for money. It’s meant for 5-6 persons but if you prepare additional rice/noodles, soup stock and ingredients, you can definitely host up to 10 people, or have 2 rounds of dinner with the recommended 5-6pax. 2. Enjoy Yu Pin Zhen Bird’s Nest at home

Bird’s Nest is widely known to be an oriental delicacy which boosts many health benefits; “As it is rich in protein, collagen and other nutrients and minerals, the consumption of bird’s nest is scientifically proven to have several health benefits, such as stimulating the regeneration of cells, strengthening our immune and respiratory system, and improving the performance of our internal organs. When consumed by pregnant women, it could also help to strengthen the body of the mother and foetus as well as speed up the post-birth recovery process. Besides that, bird’s nest is known for its beauty benefits that help women to rejuvenate and maintain smooth, radiant and youthful complexion.” credits here. However, it’s not easily affordable because a lot of work goes into rearing the sparrows’ for their nest, obtaining their nest and then cleaning it effectively. Thanks to our local brand Yu Pin Zhen who has invested in cleaning technologies for pure birds nest, they have also conceptualized the idea of delivering cooked birds’ nest, so you can now order them by the bowls and enjoy it at the comfort of your home! For this CNY, why not surprise your parents and reward them with a bowl of this delicacy? šŸ˜‰

At the media preview of the Yu Pin Zhen Bird’s Nest, we had the pleasure to enjoy many variations of Birds Nest dishes and I was so wowed by the Chef Simon Lee from Citrus restaurant specially flown in from M’sia to prepare the dishes. The taste of the Yu Pin Zhen birds nest is neither too sweet nor bland, and makes for a great after dinner healthy dessert. Each bowl costs $28 (Free delivery), call 6842 1142 to order. Better hurry if you want to order, ahead of the Public Holidays! šŸ˜‰

Festive & happy occasions calls for a toast, right? Why not order a dozen of wines from The Wine Creek to celebrate the Chinese New Year with your family? Plus you can always keep them if you can’t finish in one seating. šŸ˜‰ Ā I recommend the Furlan ($30/btl) if you’re a fan of Proseccos, sweet Italian white wines, like I am. So Sofitel Valentines Day Dinner Blogger Review 001

1. Bond Over Good Food at So Sofitel

I personally believe that good food is essential in a relationship. Everyone needs to eat and humans bond over food. So what better way to express your love for your partner then to bring him/her to a special dinner? So Sofitel’s Resident Culinary Designer Anne-Cecile Degenne impressed both our palate and eyes at the 3 course (pre) Valentines Day Dinner media tasting. Ā I was surprised with the fresh crab meat paired with the refreshing cucumber and ginger sorbet. I would love to have the sorbet again! The grilled beef tenderloin was excellent too, cooked just nice and tender. While I would usually have trouble chewing on steaks which are cooked too dry & tough, this steak wasn’t an issue at all. We were all impressed with the sharing dessert which came in a decadent chocolate and raspberry combination and of course I couldn’t resist a photo with it, hehe. Visit their site hereĀ or callĀ for more information and bookings.

If your partner and you are Spa lovers, why not complete the date with a therapeutic getaway at So SPA by Sofitel’s in Sentosa? With it, you and your sweetheart can enjoy a 2+hours long session with Neem Body Polish, Bath for 2, So Abhyanga Massage at their Private Couple Spa Suite with complimentary champagne & canepe, full Usage of the outdoor spa gardens, mud pool and more at $528++ per couple. This promotion is valid until 28 Feb 2015. You can call & reserve via (65) 6371 1288.

MadAboutSucre Official Opening 001

2. Fall Sweeter In Love with Mad About Sucre Cakes

As a general rule, girls like sweet things; chocolates, ice cream, cakes, oh yes, cakes. There’s just something special about sweet, soft cakes. My friends over at Mad About Sucre have recently opened their cakery at 27 Teo Hong Road (walking distance from Outram MRT) and their cakes are sophisticated and a delight to our palates. I am particularly in love with their Burnt Caramel topped with Himalayan Salt Cake which is soft, sweet and simply amazing. My next favourite is theirĀ Passion Fruit Cheese Cake which is sweet, citrusy with a tinge of cheese. Chocolate lovers can find delight in their Red Cherry & Mexican Cocoa Cake as well as their decadent Rum infused Chocolate & Banana Cake. Enjoy a cake and a tea or coffee here, let the sweet tastes of the cake mingle in your mouth and linger on through the night. Or if you’re feeling adventurous, you might also fancy their Lemon & Coconut Tart. Priced at $9.80-$11.80, visit them after your dinner date as they’re open from 12.30-10.30pm, Mondays off.

Delicious Kabe no Ana Mentaiko Pasta

Hi Loves!

As you should know by now, I’m a big fan of Japanese pasta. Many months back (ahem), my Kose girlfriends and I went to NEX for some delicious pasta at Kabe no Ana, which is famous for their Mentaiko Pasta – which is one of favourite!!! Just like my recent recommendation of Miam Miam, this is a place that I would go back again and I enjoyed my time and food there with my lovely friends.

Visit them atĀ #B1-80, Nex, 23 Serangoon Central. About $20 per person.Ā

Do you have a Japanese pasta resto recommendation in Singapore? Let me know!

Yum Yum at Miam Miam Bugis

Hi Loves!

I don’t want to sound like a broken recorder, but I still have so many unpublished photos and material for my blog that it will take me more than 2 months to publish them, (assuming) if I were to diligently update my blog daily. Yeap, that’s material for more than 60 posts. However with my work as a real estate agent, attending current blogger events and not forgetting my obsession with Korean dramas, I don’t have the luxury of time to publish all of the materials, some of which are frankly outdated now, lol! Nonetheless I will be publishing some of the older photos and materials over the course of the next few months, so indulge me! šŸ˜› After I clear off the back log, my plan for this year is to streamline the content for my blog this year, so focus on quality instead of quantity. As fashion blogger Nicole Warne of GaryPepperGirl puts it, “It’s the work that you decline that also defines you.” Beginning from mid last year, I’ve been more intentional in the contentĀ that I publish on my blog, and moving along, I will be even more selective.

So for the record, I visited Miam Miam at BugisĀ Junction#02-14 many months back in May 2014 with blogger friend Clarabel for dinner and even though so many months have passed, looking at these photos remind me that I loved it. The pasta/noodles serving were very generous, thankfully I was hungry (Clarabel is blessed with high metabolism rate, always hungry and eating but still slim!) and we both loved the Molten Lava cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. I haven’t been back since but it’s a place I recommend and would definitely go back. The store is located in the atrium area of level 2 but still provides sufficient ambience with its rustic country decor for a cosy dinner. Ideal for both group and couple dates. They have a French Japanese fusion concept and at $15-$20 person for meals.

Let me know if you’ve dined at Miam Miam and what you enjoy eating there!

Sweet Pamper Session at Plaza Sing with le blanc by mashu & Nana’s Green Tea

Hi Loves!

Do you fancy a pamper session with your BFF after your Christmas shopping frenzy?
My BFF Fion & I was atĀ Plaza Singapura just the other day and we went to le blanc by mashu salon for a relaxing Soda Spa Scalp Treatment followed by lunch at Nana’s Green Tea. We had so much fun and the day flew by!

le blanc by mashu salon opened back in September and is headed by Japanese Creative Director Masaaki Ueda. Ā We really enjoyed the Soda Spa Scalp treatment which is a “treatment that uses carbonated water and also Soda Spa Foam to flush carbon dioxide through the scalp and skin, carrying away waste in the body. This encourages blood circulation, which in turn enhances metabolism and increases oxygen and nutrient supply to the scalp and skin, keeping them soft, velvety and healthy.”Ā The entire session was very relaxing, especially whilst in the reclining chair during the hair spa~ and my hair was silky smooth for the next 3 days and it felt so good!

At Nana’s Green Tea, we had a sumptous lunch and I was super happy with my Locomoco Hamburg set and the Green Parfait with the Green Tea ice cream is divine!

Scroll down & enjoy asĀ I share about our Pamper Day~ ^^

Clozette Ambassadors Tea Party @ Mu Parlour

Hi Loves!

A while back Clozette hosted a tea party for Clozette ambassadors and it was a good time meeting and catching up with fellow Clozette ambassadors. If you haven’t read my previous posts about Clozette, just know that I will visit the site almost daily to see a consolidated updates by fellow fashion and beauty enthusiasts – I am currently following about 100 fashion and beauty influencers, mostly Clozette Ambassadors and Star Clozetters in Singapore and Asia who have fabulous updates. The tea party was a blast and time flies when you’re having fun. We had a delicious array of finger food and tea in a cafe decked out in cute Alice in Wonderland theme and lots of cute pink balloons! We made pink ribbons to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness for the month of October and we also filmed a video to share our love for Clozette. After the event, Vinna, Fenny & I took time to take ootd shots at places nearby. Saturdays should be like this!

Pan Pacific’s The Edge 4 Hour Sunday Champagne Brunch Review

Hi Loves!

A few months back, I completed a survey for Expat Living magazine and was kindly gifted a pair of tickets for Pan Pac’s The Edge’s Sunday Champagne brunch. So I invited my sister to come a long with me and it was such an unforgettable meal! We had so much fun indulging in wagyu beef, salmon sashimi, pork sausages, iberco ham and of course an unlimited amount of Veuve Cliquot champagne. Ā Guests can also order a limited offering of red wine and shiraz as part of the buffet. My personal favourites would be the wagyu beef and fine du claire fresh raw oysters. The buffet spread is very comprehensive to say the least and I would highly recommend this place for fine dining and champagne lovers. Ā Tickets are at $168++ per pax. There’s a package where 2 guests get a bed, brunch & bliss staycation with a late check out on Sunday at 5pm for $525 for 2. Perfect for a special occasion! For more details and booking you can visit Pan Pac site here.

I would love to go for another free flow champagne brunch again, let me know if you have a place to recommend!
