When I review a product for my blog, I usually start using the product without reading the product information and other reviews online, so that I won’t be affected by what the product boasts or be inclined to write similar things. This is because I believe in sharing my own experience, which may or may not be the same as others. And for this product, my experience coincides with the very benefits that they boast of! 🙂

Jeunesse Luminesce Cellular Rejuvenation Serum is touted to be an anti-aging serum, but it’s really moreee that that! As its name suggests, this product rejuvenates your skin from its cells. As such, it also works as a repair serum, or a serum that helps wounds to recover at a faster rate. Personally my skin is still quite young so I can’t testify much to the anti-aging effects of a serum. What I do like about this product is that it is a lightweight gel that is easily absorbed by the skin and it keeps my skin moisturized, long into the night till the next morning – so my skin looks brighter and softer instead of dull and dry. I also like that this product is safe to use for my normal-oily combination skin. 🙂

Jeunesse Luminesce Cellular Rejuvenation Serum on the left shows it’s a watery gel like consistency and when it’s applied on the right, the skin is immediately brighter/fairer, appears smoother and this is the effect that I also get when I apply it on my face t night, it lasts till the next morning. I have applied it for both my morning and night skincare routine, but I prefer to use this only at night because there is a strong scent. What I do to combat the scent is I use another scented skin First Treatment Essence (there are many brands available, SK-II, Laneige, I currently use My Face Shop SMIM one), which also conveniently helps to prep my skin to absorb more of the consequent product used, in this case the Luminesce serum.

I mentioned above that the Luminesce serum also helps you to recover from wounds faster, I don’t have a personal experience, but here’s a Youtube video that is really super convincing, so much so that I actually feel happy for these interviewed users for having this Luminesce serum to improve their skin to a healthier and younger state that’s either due to normal aging or damaged from injury. Note: some of the users’ skin are really bloodied due to accidents, so don’t watch this will eating or it may spoil your appetite.

What I like about this product is its amazing taste! It tastes like red wine, due to the red grape extract aka Resveratrol, with a wonderful blend of other fruits such as Acai Berry, Blueberry, Pomegranate, Aloe Vera, Grape Seed, Dark Cherry (another of my fave too!) and Green Tea (major love for this too!). It comes in a big box of 30 ml gel packs, you can choose to take it in the morning or after dinner at night. I’ve been told by the Jeunesse distributor that it’s best consumed in the morning, before you eat your breakfast. This is because this product will increase your metabolism rate, kickstarting your day and gives you more energy. I like that the Reserve helps my digestion better, when I take it in the night, the next day I can move my bowels easily! 😛 Amazingly too, it’s only 13 calories even thought it’s a real sweet treat. Yay!

I also really like how conveniently packed these are! I like to put them in my bag and consume them after dinner when I’m out – they don’t take up much space and I never have to worry about spillage either. Plus with this design I squeeze out everything and no wastage either!

Get Red Carpet Ready with Marc Anthony True Professional Haircare

A few weeks back I attended Marc Anthony True Professional Red Carpet workshop and picked up a few nifty hair tips in addition to being acquainted with their products. Valerie, the brand executive of Marc Anthony in Singapore introduced the brand and products to us, followed by a hands on demonstration and workshop taught by hair stylist Shawn Ang.

I use to be really lazy with my hair, I’d just towel dry my hair and head out when its still semi-dry and it’s only in this one year after being acquainted, testing so many hair products that I am only slowly beginning to show better love and care for my hair. As the saying goes, our hair is our crowning glory – a lot of us shell out big bucks for a nice cut, dye and treatment, why should we not spend a little more on home care products to ensure the longevity of these expensive treatments on our hair?

For the uninitiated, Marc Anthony True Professional is a trusted brand that hails from Toronto and is stocked in 30,000 retail shops world wide. Marc Anthony the founder and creator is a celebrity hair stylists and he has tended to the the tresses of red carpet beauties like Blake Lively, Jessica Alba and Lauren Conrad.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the event with my fellow lovely beauty and lifestyle bloggers and enjoyed using the Argan the day after the event, I started using the Oil of Morocco Argan Oil treatment and Bye Bye Frizz Keratin Smoothing Blow Dry Cream to style and nourish my hair. I highly recommend both products and I am going to purchase their 2nd Day Dry Shampoo from Watsons because the entire local team was raving about how effective it is to keep hair dry and odour free especially after lunch – brilliant!

There were 2 other bloggers and myself who were invited down earlier to have our hair done by Shawn before the event – super love how he straightened my hair with just the lightest curl at the edges. If only I could have this hair everyday!

Shawn conducts the Red Carpet workshop by demonstrating on attendees’ hair, here with Jeraldine. Notice how he blows and then ties her hair and styles it up into a high crown + pony tail look that’s super trendy and runway ready.

Another look I did up myself by pinning my fringe up and wearing a pair of earrings I bought from Lovisa – I like buying such “special occasion” earrings to stock up for when the occasion arises, heh!

Marc Anthony’s Oil of Morocco (OOM) Range is formulated to lock in moisture to give your hair a healthy shine. On the left, OOM Argan Oil Volume Shine Hairspray nourishes and styles your hair at once. (53ml, $6,90). OOM Argan Oil 3x Volume Cream (175ml, $18.90) gives you thicker, fuller with extra hold and shine and is said to last 3 days or until your next wash – not recommended for you to test it out in 3 days in Singapore’s humid weather! Lol. The OOM Argan Oil Treatment ($18.90) is a must have product to use while your hair is still damp, apply on hands and spread all over your hair – this will help to smoothen ends and prep and protect the hair for the next step when you add cream to style your hair – this is totally new to me and something I learnt from the workshop! You can also opt to use OOM Argan Oil 3 Day Smooth Perfect Blow Dry Cream (200ml, $18.90) for frizz free and shiny hair for up to 3 days. I would peronally opt for this because my hair is prone to frizziness.

In a blink of an eye, Christmas week is over and so will the year 2014 be over in just 1 more day~!

Lately I’ve been testing out Clio Salon de Caras mascaras and I’d like to share them with you. 🙂

Clio Salon de Cara Mascaras are modeled after salon styling tools suc as hair rollers, round hair brush & hairstylist’s hands.

All 3 mascaras are waterproof, smudgeproof and contain salon inspired formulas of volume powder and hair waxes.

The mascaras contain popular ingredients used in hair treatments – Argan Oil which helps repair hair damage and Ceramide, which smoothens hair cuticles, locks in moisture and prevents damage.

Clio Salon de Cara 001 Hair Roll Cara is inspired by the Salon’s hair rollers for extra volume. It’s recommended for long and thin lashes. The mascara comes with a heated lash curler that is AAA battery powered and has heated wires to heat up the eyelashes.

Clio Salon de Cara in 002 Roll Brush Cara mimics a round hairbrush for a curling effect, recommended for stick straight lashes!

I’ve used all 3 mascaras and I love that they apply smoothly and I have no issues removing them with my micellar water make up remover. My favourite of the 3 has got to be Clio Salon de Cara 002 Roll Brush Cara (Yellow) because it gives my short straight lashes just the right amount of mascara and push for longer, curled lashes.

Tested out Nuxe’s Fondant Body Scrub. It’s a creamy body scrub with 100% plant exfoliants in various grain sizes for soft, smooth skin that feels like new and I LOVE IT because of its 100% natural ingredients and the grain sizes aren’t artificial beads so I feel good using in on my skin!

Also tried their 24hr Moisturizing Body Lotion which leave the skin soft without greasy after effect. More about that below.

I’ve applied this Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse on my arms and I really do love how it softens my skin and gives off a fragrant floral scent – I especially love the vanilla base scent! I also really love to use this on my hair, I apply it whilst its semi-wet and when it dries its tangle-free and frizz-free. Awesome!

I’ve used this New My Beauty Kit – it’s a free travel size pack that is gift with purchase – comprising of the Micfor a week and it’s gentle on the skin. Micellar Cleansing Water, Anti-Fatigue Moisturizing Cream & 24HR Moisturizing Body Lotion. I find that these can be a little too rich for my skin, so I would recommend these for people who travel abroad to colder countries or people with dryer skin~

I do hope you’ve completed your Christmas gifts shopping, if you haven’t, perhaps my post about Crabtree & Evelyn today will give you some inspiration where to go for some last minute shopping. :p After their Damask Rose Skincare launch, we were invited to Crabtree’s flagship store at Ngee Ann City and it’s always a pleasure to be there! For their Christmas preview, each media invitee had to hunt for our specially tagged Christmas sock with our media card and gift voucher. Such a sweet & thoughtful activity that’s so in line with Christmas! Crabtree & Evelyn Damask Rose Everyday Skincare Collection Preview

A while back I attended the media preview for Crabtree & Evelyn Singapore’s Damask Rose Everyday Skincare Collection at their flagship store at Ngee Ann City. It was my first time attending their media launch in store and I found myself to be in for a real sweet treat with their Damask Rose skincare collection welcoming me at the entrance, fresh roses on the left and rose inspired cakes and more on the right. I don’t know about you, but I am a major flower lover and I have a soft spot for roses, peonies and rancanculus – flowers that have layers upon layers of petals. So. Much. Love.

The Damask Rose Everyday Skincare Collection is formulated with natural ingredients chosen for their ability to deeply moisturize and rejuvenate even dry and sensitive skin. The 3 key ingredients are French Damask Rose, Rose of Jericho & Hollyhock. Essentially these ingredients are known to be intensely moisturizing, brings immediate and long lasting hydration and anti-inflammatory properties.

The collection features 10 products; 3 cleansers, 2 toners, 3 moisturiser & 2 masks. I picked Cleanser: Freshening Cleansing Lotion (100ml), Toner: Relaxing Micellar Water (150ml) & Moisturizer: Hydrating Day Lotion (50ml). The cleanser has to be shaken to blend the oils and actives before usage. I love how it cleanses and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. However I was initially confused and used this as the toner (yes I didn’t read the description properly, just assumed “lotion” as toner) so I was confused why it was slightly oily. However after getting the confusion out of the way, this is a great lightweight cleanser that can be used out of the shower. I love the Relaxing Micellar Water (toner). I’ve been using it regularly now – replacing my Kose toner which has just run out – it doubles as a cleanser too, removing any residual impurities and tones the skin. The hydrating day lotion is white in colour and moderate in consistency. It’s supposedly a lightweight moisturizer however I find that it is still slightly heavy for Singapore’s humid weather. For best results, apply it into the face and wait for the it to dry, about 1 min before applying on make up. After the moisturizer sets into the skin, the skin is left soft and supple. But this is a moisturizer only for those with patience, I tend to hurry my skincare and makeup routine on mornings when I am in a rush so I prefer waterbased/gel moisturizers that sinks into the skin real quick. One thing for sure, the entire skincare range has a lovely rose scent that’s sure to be a bonus for floral lovers out there – just like me!

Clozette Ambassadors Tea Party @ Mu Parlour

A while back Clozette hosted a tea party for Clozette ambassadors and it was a good time meeting and catching up with fellow Clozette ambassadors. If you haven’t read my previous posts about Clozette, just know that I will visit the site almost daily to see a consolidated updates by fellow fashion and beauty enthusiasts – I am currently following about 100 fashion and beauty influencers, mostly Clozette Ambassadors and Star Clozetters in Singapore and Asia who have fabulous updates. The tea party was a blast and time flies when you’re having fun. We had a delicious array of finger food and tea in a cafe decked out in cute Alice in Wonderland theme and lots of cute pink balloons! We made pink ribbons to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness for the month of October and we also filmed a video to share our love for Clozette. After the event, Vinna, Fenny & I took time to take ootd shots at places nearby. Saturdays should be like this!

Estee Lauder Modern Muse Fragrance Review

As I gather my thoughts and prepare for this fragrance review post, I feel so at peace with my environment and myself. It’s incredible to think that we’re a good 5 days (as I am typing, but will be 6 when this is published) into the last month of the year 2014. I think that year 2014 has been a tough year globally with many unfortunate flight disasters and the onset of a major virus epidemic in Africa, not forgetting the financial softening in many parts of the world and in Singapore. To say that this year has been tough for me would be an understatement. It’s probably not the toughest year for me per se, emotionally speaking. But career wise and financially, it’s not the kind of financial climate that a rather fresh graduate wishes for her coming 2nd work year, much less to say as a property agent. I will probably dedicate a separate post for my yearly reflections for my personal, work and blog life. What I wish to say for now is that I’m grateful, grateful that I am able to keep my passion and blogging hobby alive thus far. Even after 4 years, my blog is still driven by passion; even though I have months worth of blogging back log, I’ve never dreaded blogging and I always look forward to taking time to reflect, review and update this little blog space of mine. And I think that that’s how I have differentiated myself, that I always take time to craft and compile a post with my thoughts, research and images – and I take a great deal of pride in that. I don’t deny that I am a huge procrastinator and that is something I am still working on. However for me, good posts take time and I don’t think that I’ll ever settle for a post that falls short of anything but that. 🙂

With the long introduction aside, today I’d like to present to you the Estee Lauder Modern Muse fragrance. I’m just gonna be super direct and put it out there – I am in love with this fragrance. It’s my current top favourite fragrance that I find myself drawn towards each morning before I head to work. Described as a Lush Floral Woody scent, it’s a sublime and sophisticated combination of Sparkling Jasmine and Sleek Wood Accords. A well balanced and layered fragrance, it’s the go-to scent for a confident, independent and inspirational woman of today. This scent reminds me again of why Estee Lauder is such a remarkable global beauty brand to be reckoned with today – their every product is a distillation of months, perhaps year long research and development that’s catered to a woman’s lifestyle and need. Estee Lauder just gets it. And this fragrance is one such example as it’s feminine yet confident. I feel that as women of the world today, we can embrace our femininity and at the same time we can be confident and empowered to achieve greater things that perhaps our female seniors have not been able to previously. We have been given much, and with it, we can do so much more.

The Modern Muse comes in a cute bow design and the media kit came in a cool sleek card usb – am I the only one that’s constantly amazed by the modernity of technology and design?

Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquers & Handy Tips

This is my 5th post in 3 days. I’m on a roll, ain’t I? 😛 I’m really behind on a lot of my beauty & event reviews, not including my own personal food reviews and lifestyle posts… hopefully I can make it in good time to complete my postings for this year within this last month of December! At this rate that I’m posting I think its possible, heh! 😀

A while back I received this really really pretty parcel from Crabtree & Evelyn. It definitely rank tops in terms of the cutest packaging delivered to my house this year! It’s a bag in the form of a tree full of Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy creams, with a hand cream in Carribbean Island Wild Flowers which I’ve previously reviewed and love, their new and very own nail lacquer in red and super clever nail polish remover wipes! I’ve tried the C&E nail lacquer and it’s so good. It lasts remarkably well, longer than a week for my very active fingernails (typing, paper work, and general carelessness) and it removes SO CLEANLY! #Madlove. I don’t know about you, but removal of nail polish lacquer can be such a pain for me. But this one removed so cleanly and efficiently and it’s not because I changed nail polish remover but because the formulation of the nail lacquer is very good.

And the person that thought of nail polish remover wipes, is a genius! I don’t know why there isn’t such a thing that came earlier in the market? Or maybe it’s just me being ignorant, but it’s my first time seeing such a product and I LOVE IT. I only needed 1 sheet to remove all 10 fingernail polishes and there are 8 individually wrapped sheets. That’s 8 sheets of wonderful convenience guys, you know how you’re running late in the morning and need to rush out but you need to clean up your nails because the paint is all cracked and half gone? These wipes are so handy and slim, no need to lug a bottle of nail polish remover and nth number of cotton wipes!

That’s my freshly painted nails while I was watching Kdrama Fated to Love You. 😀

Renaza’s 8th Anniversary Party

Renaza Wellness turned 8 back in August and celebrated their 8th Anniversary with a bang at their Palais Renaissance outlet. Thanks to Clozette, I had the chance to indulge in a manicure session, a gua sha session followed by tasty refreshments and the most remarkable rose inspired cocktails. It’s frankly the best cocktails I remember having at a beauty event, so fitting to the theme, sweet and refreshing as well! Make Up Store Autumn 2014 Collection Preview @ Gilman Barracks

Sometime back I was invited down to Make Up Store’s Autumn’s 2014 collection preview and along with media and VIP guests we got to see 3 beautiful and very artistic looks from the autumn collections, namely Art, Scream & Paint. You’ll see why they are named that way in the photos! I really loved how the entire preview was presented. It was hosted at an art gallery at Gillman Barracks, amidst beautiful art pieces and decorated canvases according to the 3 themes and looks. Then the host presented the models and a make up artist explained the inspiration, make up & colours behind each look. There was also a host of “live canvases” models for us to test the make up on, but I think all of us were too shy to actually “paint” on their faces! 😛 So we mostly just helped ourselves to the make up bars held up by the lovely ladies and swatched the make up and I was very, very intrigued by the double coloured lipsticks and very very lovely marbled blushers, creamy and pigmented lipsticks and lip liners. You’ll see!

I have to admit that I can’t bear to use the blusher and lipsticks…. >.< They are soo pretty that I don’t bear to ruin them. T_T”‘

Using Dali Lipliner and Boysenberry Lipstick Pen… super love the colour! Very long lasting too. However the only think i wish for is that the Lipstick Pen to come in a dispensable plastic holder instead of a wooden pencil…

Mane Changing Experience at Revamped Chez Vous Salon

If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ll know that I recently had a mane changing experience; I now have shorter shoulder long hair with a red dye at the ends and beneath my hair surface.

Today I’m sharing about my experience at this marvelous salon that is the newly revamped Chez Vous hair salon!

A little history and background about Chez Vous Hair Salon before we begin. Founded by Thomas Teo & Riz Tan, they first started out at Bugis before becoming today’s 30 seat luxury salon at Ngee Ann City. Chez Vous Salon’s been around for 19 years and they’re also the only salon in Singapore with an “OHDA” policy with stands for “Only Hair Directors Allowed”. So you can rest assure that your mane is in good hands when you’re there! In fact a lot of Chez Vous’ clienteles are C-level executives, man and women who hold high level positions at work and need to maintain a professional image without any hassle.

So, Chez Vous Hair Salon’s just undergone a revamp and other than bringing in a redefined thematic layout and designer interior, part of the reason for this revamp stems from the founders & partners desire to re-inject the joy of a hair salon experience. They realized that customers are increasingly grumpy and stressed whenever they come for their hair cut and treatments, sometimes even whipping out their laptops and busy at work even while at the salon. So with this revamp, Chez Vous salon hopes that their customers can come to find joy at the salon; be pampered, feel soothed and relaxed with the services and facilities in place!

At the entrance of the salon, a wall of colourful hands welcome customers and is also symbolic of all the staff that has built Chez Vous to what it is today. Such a beautiful concept!

At the HYDRA BAR, customers can fill up with Laduree chocolates, sweets & tea, should they be required to wait when they arrive at the appointment time.

The WOW private room is decked in rainbow lights and is prepared for the most discerning of clients, it’s also fitted with hair scalp diagnosis equipment and a fully fitted room for all hair treatments.

There are 3 COCOON domes located the the center of the salon for customers who prefer a little more privacy for their treatments and makeovers.

At the back of the salon is the SPLASH room with coloured soft fabrics decking the ceiling, each Colour representing a value that the salon believes; White for Peace, Orange for Energetic, Red for Passion and Purple for Joy. 🙂

Another remarkable key design piece in the salon is this handsome wood panelled face sculpture that transforms according to the viewers’ perspective. This is evocative of Chez Vous’ experimental and innovative ways, constantly transforming and improving their skills and treatments in the hair industry that makes them one of the leading salon in Singapore.

As a show of support to the local fashion design scene, Chez Vous will also feature fashion designs from local personalities in store. At the time of my visit, they were showcasing Depression’s FW2014 designs. Coincidentally, on that very Sunday evening, I was attending Depression’s SS2015 runway at Digital Fashion Week! So I was very pleasantly surprised to find their pieces in the salon.

After a tour of the salon, I was ushered to my seat and reviewed the two books. The first serves as a guide to all the services available at the salon.

Complimentary services include wifi, Samsung tablet for games, web surfing, movies, free mobile phone charging service, pillow & newspapers.

A generous array of teas & coffees for selection. I had a latte!

You’ll find a tablet at each pod, so that each customer can be kept entertained throughout the session!

After a hair wash, hair director Jamie proceeded to chop off a substantial portion of my hair. What do you think?

A look at the Experligent Service guide book shows the types of services and treatments you can choose from, or you can simply discuss with the hair directors and they can recommend you what’s best and tailor make a treatment for you.

Next I had my hair coloured, by Slicer, whose name is inspired by “潇洒”，which roughly translates to Cool in English. He is pretty cool, isn’t he?

Then I had a hair treatment session, as per Jamie’s recommendation for my slightly dry hair.

The final result of my new hair colour & cut, under the expert hands of Jamie & Slicer! ^_^

Thanks to Eugene, Chez Vous’ brand director for giving me such a detailed tour and background of the salon and for also providing me recommendations with addresses for my upcoming trip to BKK! So thoughtful and considerate!!!

So happy with my new hair cut & colour. ^^

The Redken shampoo & conditioner that I brought home to lock in the colours for my hair. The brown and red colours were indeed very much locked in and I didn’t have much colour fade out during the initial washes! There’s also a tub of hair masque that I didn’t capture, but it’s this really awesome hair salon grade masque given by Chez Vous that makes my hair really soft. ^^

Eugene was showing me their Amplified Hair Rebonding solution used to break the hair bonds, in PH6, unlike the usual PH9. Paper remains yellow for the PH6 solution versus paper turning green for the PH9 solution. Undoubtedly the PH9 solution is stronger but also more damaging. With this PH6, and the Amplified Hair Rebonding treatment, customers can rebond their hair up to every quarter of the year and get smoother hair yet without compromising on the health of the hair!!! I hope to be able to try this treatment the next time! ^^

Chez Vous will be introducing a Expertligent Fix You Programme! If your hair is damaged either by cut, colour or any other hair chemical services within 5 days in any other salons in Singapore, regardless if you are one of Chez Vous’s guest, Chez Vous will attempt to fix it for free. Only available for 1 customer a day from Sunday to Thursday only & you’ll have to call in to fix an appointment.

Another initiative is “Mix, Mingle & Makeover” where customers can book the salon in advance with their family or colleagues and have a makeover party with macarons, food & drinks together. I can imagine this would be a a totally cool pre wedding bride & bridesmaids party idea!

Foot Care for Smooth Feet

Hi Loves!

Today I’m sharing about a part of our body that I feel is a little neglected, unloved… Our feet! Well, or is it just me? I usually don/t pay much attention to my feet, though I make sure I scrub it thoroughly at least once a month (oops, is that too long an interval even? >.<) especially removing the dead skin and dirt that has accumulated around the heel and ankle portion. I was gifted a very nifty stainless steel foot file by my friend, Jenny! She has them specially made, I love that the foot file is designed ergonomically so that it’s really comfortable to hold. One side with the protruding circles is designed to be rougher so that it removes stubborn dirt and dead skin while the other side with the lines is lighter on the skin. What I do is I soften my feet skin with warm water and soap before I use the foot file! You can also do this during or after your shower. Since it’s stainless steel, no worries about it getting rusty. 😉 If you’d like a foot file for yourself or to purchase in bulk, contact Jenny @ 9806 7232. My Monday totally felt like a “weekend coma”; post hectic weekend coma. >_< Last week was a really long week with planning and executing my blog Enabalista’s 4th Anniversary giveaways, blogging appointments as well as work packed back to back. So I felt so lethargic at work on Monday… But then I was totally excited to meet up with my girlies at work for dinner at Saveur heheh.

Before it gets too late, I’d like to share my thoughts on reaching Enabalista’s 4th Anniversary! ^^,

On my Instagram last Thursday, which is also the very date of my very first post on this blog (30th Oct), I posted a series of #TBT photos that encapsulates 4 of my passions and popular topics on my blog:

Fashion
I started off this blog to share photos and thoughts of fashion shows that I attended when I was a fashion student. I had the chance to attend many local fashion shows while assisting backstage and also as my BFF, Bini’s guest for the premium shows such as Chanel.

Beauty
Not long after, I also started to review beauty products, starting off with skincare and a ton of lip care products. In the course of 4 years, I’ve had the pleasure to review many brands, as seen in the photo and also recommended many of them to you my readers, as well as family and friends.

Travel
If you’ve been following my blog long enough, you’ll also know that I love to travel and to blog about my travels. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to travel far for 2014, apart from Malaysia and even for those short trips I also haven’t had the time to post up photos. >_< If you’re new to my blog, I hope you’ll enjoy reading about my trips to Seoul, HK, Japan & London. 🙂

Did I start out my blog 4 years ago thinking it’d reach where it is today?
Absolutely not. As I mentioned above, I started out blogging to post information and photos that I was passionate about. On hindsight, these information that I have are also exclusive, so blogging is really a great way to share these exciting information and meet bloggers and readers alike who are equally passionate about these topics as I am. It was only in mid-end 2011 that I started to blog quite industriously and was posting up more content in terms of events that I attended and beauty products I’ve tried.

Then December 2013 came around and I still remember that I was at my church’s 50th anniversary camp at Malacca when I was in the hotel room I shared with my friend Talia and reading the email from HotelClub.com that they have selected me to be one of the “Best Singapore Lifestyle Blog 2013“. I was super stoked and I was incredibly happy, excited and thankful to be recognized for this blog that I’ve been passionately maintaining.

Then Jan 2014 came around and I started to receive an influx of invitations from brands for events and reviews. Two very exciting things also happened for me in mid 2014, I took part in Kose Cinderella contest and OMY Best Beauty Blogs contest, one after the other. Although I didn’t win either one of it, I’m still very thankful for my family and friends who have shown so much support for me and through these contests I’ve also got to know the lovely ladies who took part in the contests and these connections are truly invaluable.

2014 also marks the year where I clearly defined that I wanted my blog to be recognized as a lifestyle blog. I am passionate about things beyond just 1 topic, and I don’t want to limit myself to be only blogging about one topic. So sometime around January this year, I set a goal that I wanted my blog to be known and ranked top as “Singapore’s Lifestyle Blog/Blogger” on Google. Lo & behold, after about 100 posts in 2014 alone, my dream came true in October this year and I was very thankful when a PR contact introduced me as “Singapore’s leading lifestyle blogger”. I don’t know if I am able to maintain my blog’s Google ranking, or how long I can maintain it for, but I know that if more readers enjoy reading what I blog about, then the easier it would be to sustain the ranking. 🙂

The future ahead
Like 4 years ago, I’m not sure where my blog will be headed to in another 4 years. But I do know for sure that I’ll continue to be passionately sharing about my positive experiences for Fashion, Beauty, Travel & Food. Currently there are 2 things that I wish to accomplish: 1. Publish a book about Lifestyle; an editorial summary of topics similar to my blog 2. Produce a series of diary/organizers. However right now I have too much on my plate for work and blogging that I am KIV-ing these goals that I wish to achieve until the time is right. If you’re reading this and would like to partner me to accomplish these goals, email me and we’ll see how we can set things in motion. 🙂

Last but definitely not the least, I want to thank God for His providence and guidance for my life and blog and my family and friends for their support and encouragement. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, my dear readers and friends for reading my blog. 🙂
