Have you ever wondered why some girls always have flawless selfies on their IG / social medias? Apart from the Mei Tu Xiu Xiu app, it’s no secret that the Casio TR60 is the perfect selfie camera with its built in beauty filter function! I had the chance to review the camera and here are the photos and my take! 😉
Casio Exilim TR60
Petite in size and pretty in purple.
Extendable frame which forms a good grip for selfies.
Extendable frame also forms as a good stand for wireless/”shoot with phone” photo taking function.
The two dots on the side of the camera indicates the “selfie pad” which allows you to toggle between beauty filters and modes.
The menu page with the few options which allows wireless download to phone and
shooting with phone.
The camera album allows storage of about 100 photos, which isn’t a lot. You will need to transfer the photos to the phone and delete the photos on the camera regularly. P.S. These are the photos I took during my Genting trip, you can check it out my blog post of the trip here! 😉
Send to phone function, will need to download the Exilim Connect app on your phone and then link the camera to the phone wirelessly.Connect the phone to the camera’s wifi.
Then open the Exilim connect app on your phone. In this case, I am using an IPhone. Once the phone is connected, you can view photos on phone or use remote capture – allows you to use your phone as a remote and click to capture photos on the Casio TR60.
Casio TR60 Makeup mode allows you to adjust the skin tone and smooth skin filters.
The screen displays the few modes at the top which you can click to use accordingly: makeup, mirror, wireless, modes, menu.
Under modes, you can pick from various options!
More options under “Art shot”.Including a nails option!
Here’s how the photo taken with the nails mode option looks like!
And here’s a photo taken using my phone as a remote control. 🙂
More photos taken with the built in beauty filter, no further editing required! ^^V
I do love the Casio TR60 camera very much for the flawless selfie functions and how pretty and petite the camera is. However at $1400+, it is a huge amount to shell out for a selfie camera, which is why I didn’t purchase after the review.
Thank you Casio Singapore, Nicole and Oglivy PR for providing the Casio TR60 camera for the review!
Will be posting about the launch of Casio’s newer selfie camera model, Casio TR70 in another post soon! 😉
