I’m a huge fan of Japanese curry rice because the curry is tasty without being too spicy and I love the crispy cutlets in the curry rice, hence I’m a fan of Coco Ichibanya and have dined at their Somerset and Star Vista outlets before attending the launch preview at Plaza Singapura. Another really belated review/post but presumably all the items are still on the menu! 🙂 You can choose from an array of 5 spicy levels! I usually opt for level 1 cause I like my Japanese curry without much spice, lol. And the max I’d go is level 3.
Their steak is pretty good too!

Shishamo, which is fried fish with a lot of roe in them. I used to be afraid of eating these but they are kinda tasty.
Gyoza, not a fan of Gyoza in generally, and didn’t think they were very spectacular.

Desserts were meh – the only decent one is the layered chocolate cake.

I am a fan of croquettes but these weren’t particularly remarkable.
This salad is nice! If you are a salad lover, I’d recommend this, not filling for sure, but nice.
