Spicy Hot Curry at Marina South Curry House

Hi Loves!

A while back I visited Marina South Curry House for a food tasting session and their red curry chicken and salted egg chicken wing is really the bomb! I also really enjoyed their fish head bee hoon because it was flavourful even though no milk or msg was used – it’s made from Chef Gan’s unique soup stock combination. I shall post up the photos explain with captions. Details for the shop found below. Enjoy this post! P.S. Get ready to be hungry!

Marina South Curry House gets its name from the original location where they use to be at Marina South, a place popular for dating for those born in the 70’s and very well known for serving up a mean curry that’s super hot and spicy. Marina South Curry House Blog Review 009

You’ll find TV screens playing segments and photos on display of their food and famous guests, I spot DJ Yasminne and local celebrities.Marina South Curry House Blog Review 012 Marina South Curry House Blog Review 011

Red Curry Chicken – this is so delicious! I usually don’t eat a full bowl of rice, but I found myself eating mouth after mouth with this yummy red curry!$6.90 for one person serving. Highly recommended~~~ Marina South Curry House Blog Review 001

To soothe the tongue and throat from the red curry, enjoy a refreshing buah long long drink at $3.90. Its slightly sour flavour that freshens you up and complements curry dishes very well.

Another of my top favourite dish, their Salted Egg Chicken Wing, $12.90 which is salty and crispy and oh-so-delicious! I only wished I had this plate all to myself. 😛Marina South Curry House Blog Review 006

Another of their speciality dish as I mentioned above, their Signature Claypot Fish Head Bee Hoon which has no milk yet the texture is still rich and relatively thick. It’s simmered for over 6 hours, the superior broth is flavourful due to Chef;s unique soup stock combination – I really love it. Enjoy it with 2-3persons for $18.90 or single portion at $7.90.

One of their signature vegetable dish is Luo Han Chye which has tofu, taupok, mushoom and small bok choy giving plenty of choice and flavour in this dish.
